SINOPSIS ESPAÑOL
. En una lucha sin piedad por el poder, varios clanes yakuza se disputan el favor del Padrino. Los rivales ascienden en la organización a base de complots y de falsas fidelidades. Otomo, yakuza desde hace mucho tiempo, ha visto progresar a sus iguales: de los tatuajes elaborados y las falanges seccionadas han pasado a las altas finanzas. Su combate para llegar a la cima, o al menos sobrevivir, no tiene fin en un mundo de corrupción donde reinan la traición y la venganza. Un mundo donde no existen los héroes.
REVIEW ENGLISH: The plot concerns a struggle for power amongst Tokyo's Yakuza clans, today just as likely to be playing the stock market as shaking down pachinko parlors, over which the Sanmo-kai clan holds sway in the face of constant betrayal and ever-changing allegiances. Sanmo-kai chairman Ototomo (played by Kitano himself) learns that his henchman Ikemoto has struck an alliance with the drug-dealing Murase family, and is not best pleased, to say the least.
